1. Travel to Lavendar
2. Find a Wizard to learn new spells and read the message
3. Wizard asks you to uncover more, he doesn't like what the message might mean
4. Hire a mercenary from the fighter's guild to help you

The Note

The note is orders from an evil Drow who needs slaves to build a temple to Lolth on the surface world. At this temple, he'll perform the dark magic needed to summon an avatar of Lolth and release it onto the world.
