Kull, your blade deflects off the magical aura around the hooded figure.

Ludo, Ghost Sound already has a Will Save for disbelief. If they believe the sound, then we'll test your bluff. Your DC for Ghost Sound is 12.

In the case they fail their will saves, here are their Sense Motive rolls against your bluff.

The Cloaked Man looks nervous as he hears the knights coming up the stairs. He responds to Ludo in a gruff voice. "It will take them ages to get up here, and besides, you can't kill me!"

The one-eyed man is, however, far less certain. He hastily drops his sword. "I YIELD!" he screams, hands in the air.

Arlette makes a move to grab at the snake. As she does so, it lashes out, trying to puncture her with venomous fangs.

Arlette easily dodges the snake and grabs the snake (your first roll of 12 + your STR beats the snakes Touch AC). It very quickly starts to wrap itself around her forearm, they struggle against each other.

Opposed Grapple Checks
Arlette rolled a 16 + str = 18
Slippery Snake: Has a -6 so there's no possible way for it to beat Arlette.

Moving into the snakes square provokes an attack of opportunity from the Cloaked Magic User.

(I will continue this later)

Arlette easily avoids the blow and is now holding the snake. She attempts to cut it's head off with her dagger, but the creature is too agile.

Kai has his action and then we continue with everyone else.

Kai moves into the hallway and calls out to the cloaked magic user while holding kull's axe. "You say we cant kill you but do you really think you can just walk away that easily. Surrender, give us the name of who sent you and things will go easier for you. But, you had better make a decision quick your allie already surrendered.

Kai ordinarily a Diplomacy check generally takes about a minute of negotiation and back and forth. We'll go ahead with it this time, but for future just remember it's not exactly a combat sort of action.

Kai is unable to convince him to surrender.

Instead, the magic user casts a second spell, summoning a second snake behind the king. It instantly strikes!1d20+4

The king cries out in shock as two points of blood begin to flow from his leg. He staggers momentarily, but remains standing. He lashes out at the snake with a backhand swing and instantly cuts the thing into two halves. His companion holds his sword-tip at the one-eyes mans throat. "Don't move a muscle." he warms.

The other two guards simultaneously swing at the cloaked figure, one swinging at the head, the other swinging at the waist. The synchronised attack proves to be too much for the magic user, he looks confused and alarmed, but the forcefield of magic around him deflects both of the blows successfully. He smiles when he realised he is unharmed.

Everyone, back to your turns.
