Hragg as you approach the doors the dirt and rocks in front of it coalesce and rise, forming a vaguely humanoid form, it blocks the doorway but otherwise makes no threatening move. It is covered in spikes with what appears to be gems, cut into sharp points at the ends. One of the statues speaks in dwarven, though it doesn't move it's mouth.

"This is the barrow of Norgrim of Azfik," it booms. "Only those descendent of Azfik may enter."

Hilda and Hragg, you both recognise the name Azfik. It is the name of a dwarven stronghold from ages past, almost as far back as legend.

Kull looks at the dwraves and the stone thing not knowing whats going on he impatiently stands around and after some time talks to the dwraves and asks whats going on ? we dont have all day. while he says that he breaks his head over the thought if he could just simply toss the stone beast away and to take whatever its guarding

Hragg and Hilda converse with the statue for some time. After about 10 minutes of conversation, the earth and rock dissipate back into the ground and the statues fall silent.

Meanwhile, a Gnomish Merchant arrives from the direction of Avim. She greets the party and gives a large, warm smile to Kull. "Well met," she says. After another brief period of conversation, it is agreed that she, along with her guards (four able-bodied humans), will look after your wagon and strange cargo while the rest of you enter the door. Due to a business arrangement with Kull, everyone is convinced that she can be trusted. She insists on taking twenty percent of anything found. She mentions that she's travelled past here many times and never seen this door or the statues before, though she confesses that this isn't a spot she would have ever stopped.

The party opens the wooden door with a creak. Despite it's age, it has not worn much at all. As it swings open it reveals itself to be almost 6 inches thick. Inside is a hallway, cut from the rock. Hilda and Hragg instantly recognise the high quality dwarven workmanship that went into this hall. The hall is about 30 feet long after which it turns to the left. On the left hand side, about 15 feet along the wall is a closed, stone door set in large iron hinges. The light from your open door penetrates in, but you can see that it gets very dark around that corner.

Alright team, it's dungeon time. Attached is what you see. Please provide me with your Marching Order as well as what you're doing. First person to post gets that position. I.e., if you want to be at the front, first person to say so is at the front, unless someone else relinquishes the position (or I otherwise allow it).

Some things to keep in mind for new players:
  • Dungeons are dark. Right now you can all see because of the open door
  • Dungeons sometimes have traps
  • Dungeons often have treasure

Elec moves forward to scout ahead, his throwing axes in his hands. As he moves he is going to search carefully for any traps in the corridor and along the walls.

Hragg is willing to take a position in the second rank, or bring up the rear and protect the retreat. The quality stonework makes him feel comfortable and at ease, though he knows the dwarvenfolk can build diabolic traps. "Nice of the rockmen to allow us entry, don't you think Hilda?" He leaves unasked the question of whether she is of the ancient bloodline...

Arlette enters with her torch, searching as she goes but keeping Elec within sight in case he gets stuck in a trap.

Elec, you reach the end of the hallway, around the corner, about ten feet ahead is another corner to the right. Taking a look around this corner reveals a long dark corridor. Elec you can't see the end of the corridor, but Hragg, Kull and Hilda can; it ends in another turn to the right. You're all positioned at the top of this corridor. There is also the stone door back near the entrance.

No one has found any traps.

The dimensions of this image are not meant to indicate the overall size of anything, it's just the smallest amount I can give you in a rectangle.
