On the trail to Threerun
Re: On the trail to Threerun
Hragg doesn't retreat. Another blow could kill him, but he refuses to allow this rocky elf to get a free attack on him as he retreats! Clangeddin forbid he ever retreats from an elf.

Arlette, you attempt to back away, twisting and weaving to avoid any blows from the statue. It swings at you, undeterred by your movements, but it misses anyway.
Arlette you can load your crossbow this turn, but not also fire it.
Kull swings his new toy recklessly, wielding it with immense power but with out any knowledge on how to use the weapon. He strikes a killing blow against the stone.
Kull, I am rolling here for your critical confirmation and damage:

Re: On the trail to Threerun
Kull damages the statue, cracks shatter across it's surface but it doesn't crumble.
Hragg refuses to retreat and tries to attack the statue again. He somehow misses!
The elven statue makes a swing in retaliation against the dwarf! It connects but the Hraggs armour absorbs the impact, causing no damage.
The dwarven statue attacks Kull, waraxe whistling through the air. It connects, again dealing a devastating blow. Kull you have been dealt 6 hit points of damage, you are down 4 hit points.

Re: On the trail to Threerun
In unison, Elec and Arlette let bolts fly at both statues. Both bolts strike and both statues shatter and fall to the ground, clouds of grey dust billow across the floor.
Okay guys. You have defeated the statues, which was really something. Kull you have a new toy. Now that you've been given a moment to look it over and think, you can see that it's very nicely made, and the blade appears very keen. You feel pretty good swinging it, stronger than you usually are, and it has a nice heft to it; but you're not very used to using an exotic weapon like this. Kull, you'll suffer a -4 to your attack rolls using this Dwarven Waraxe because you're not proficient in this weapon.

I will expend my three 0-level spells to cast Cure Minor Wounds 3 times. Once for Arlette, once for Kull and once for Elec.

Hilda places her hands upon those of you who are injured. A quickly burst of light from under her hands makes you feel a little better.
Okay, Kull you now have 5 hit points remaining. Arlette you have 6 hit points. Elec, you have 2 hit points.
Just some notes to make sure everyone is on the same page:

Just some notes to make sure everyone is on the same page:
- You are all on your way to Lavender, the next town along the way is a large town named Threerun
- You are transporting some magically sleeping people and the behest of the church of Pelor and the local lord of Avim.
- You have letters of authority from the church that should stop any questions from authorities on what you're transporting
- Your wagon and cargo is currently outside on the road being guarded by Kull's gnomish merchant-lady friend and her entourage of guards
- This tomb/barrow appears to be empty now
- There is a large stone sarcophagus in this room
Re: On the trail to Threerun
Kull is relived that this unholy fight is over. While the axe is well made he senses that this axe just isn't what he is used to fight with. Also as he closer looks at it he realises he is holding a dwraven axe. He wonders how many of his kind humams and orcs alike were killed with it. He then turns over to hragg and says : how do you wield this axe. You must know after all its created by dwarves. If you want take it i have no use for it exept to sell it. Also what the matter with this stone thing on which the axe was. Is this some sort of fancy weapon holder or what ?
