"900 gold" just the thought of that much gold made Elec chuckle quietly to himself and immediately agrees to the proposal when Arlette asked him. Besides, he is quite curious about the bodies that Landowe made him transport.

Before heading out for the day, Hilda does her devotions and light shopping of getting 3 days trail rations. Can she see if there's any other things that aren't heavy but are edible and can travel well?

Standing in the church, Hilda is comfortable being in a church of light. When her gaze meets the visage of Landowe, she curls her lip in disgust. She has great distain for those who lie and manipulate others for evil. Hilda mutters a soft prayer when she sees Hragg examine over the bodies. May he see something someone else hasn't. Hilda kept quiet during the negotiations of fees because she knows it's more important to the others than to her and she needs them for this mission. The money is of no consequence to Hilda, of course she would help these two souls.

"Friends let's go to Kalindar. Lord Hargraves, you'll make sure the wagon is outfitted with enough provisions for the journey considering you won't spare a guard, right? Also, we must be vigilant that we're not playing into the hands of the enemy. For all we know, this is exactly what evil wants, to bring these two to Kalindar."

Hragg, that would be a spellcraft check. However, upon examining the bodies you do notice a brand on the inside of both crates that the bodies were in. It is a symbol of Hextor.

Hilda there's some foodstuffs that you can take on the journey. They are better than trail rations but will only last for the three days travel before you reach the next town/village. They would be the same price for trail rations, the sorts of goods you could normally expect from a small town like this, fresh vegetables, dried/cured meats, grain etc.

"Yes.. yes of course," says Hargraves eagerly. "We'll stock you with what we can spare, and the gold should help you restock once you reach Threerun and Lavender."

Hargraves shows you a map of the Journey you must take. It's the same way that you would have gone with Landowe to reach Lavender. Tomorrow, you will leave in the early morning to arrive at Threerun, a large town, by nightfall. The next stop is Lavender, two days travel from Threerun. Finally Kalindar, the capital, a further three days from Lavender. There are small villages along the road to Lavender and Kalindar, it's not like the low populated foothills that you've just travelled across. Hopefully you won't need to do too much outdoor sleeping.

The wagon will be stocked with three days worth of food for all five of you. The wagon is much lighter than it was before when it was fully laden with Landowes wares, though you still have the two horses to pull if needed. Because of the way the two bodies have been laid out in their boxes, everyone is very hesitant to call them pauper coffins, if the lids were placed back on top they would create a platform large enough for two of you to sleep, under the cover of the wagon.

Everyone please add anything you need to purchase from the town as before and subtract the gold from your sheet (just comment in your character thread). Don't forget the 360xp that you have as well, just reply to your thread with the info.

In the morning the group sets out early. Grant, Alder, Hargraves, Father Cedril and Sister Bernedette to see you off. The bodies are loaded into the wagon after being walked down from the church, reminding you of a funeral procession. Lord Hargraves clasps each of your hands in turn, thanking you for your courage and honor, pressing a weighty purse into them. Finally, Father Cedril provides Arlette with a sealed scroll in a scroll case, with his ecclesiastic seal in a dark red wax, this is for Kalindar. He hands her a further two sealed scrolls, to provide to the heads of church at both Threerun and Lavender, which explain who you are and the mission from the church that you are on.

It's three days to Threerun. The journey will begin soon.

Arlette jumps up into the drivers seat next to Kull, "let's get a move on" she calls to the others. "What a journey ahead my friends, did anyone learn anything of interest about our situation? Hragg, what was that symbol on the boxes you were fussing over? We will have to be careful who we come across on the open road and what we share of this story... "

DM, after Hilda does her stuff in the Character Thread, she'll join the wagon.
Walking alongside of the wagon, Hilda shares with Arlette, "It's interesting, the King's Chef came out to this little hamlet. His name is Avel'myythspar. I guess they were coming out here to see what they had to offer in the part of the kingdom. I'd very much like to meet him, once we get to Kalindar." Hilda smiled at the fact that she may meet the King's Chef, in person.

The wagon makes it's way out of Avim on the southward road, following the river. The morning is crisp and clear, there is no fog or mist and it looks to be a warm day. After about three or four hours, nearing lunch-time, the party hears the sounds of combat to the east of the road, away from the water. It sounds like it is coming from just over the otherside of the hill. It sounds like a small conflict, with just a handful of participants.
