Outside the Three Dancers Inn
Re: Outside the Three Dancers Inn
Hragg has been silent for some time. He has a distaste for useless talk and the common tongue has often felt strange in his mouth. Hilda, on the other hand, has peaked his curiosity.
Still, he leads along until seeing the two zombies. He automatically adjusts his shield for battle and has his axe in hand. He had never been a caravan guard before, but he knew enough that he shouldn't allow zombies near the goods.
"Guard the wagons! Could be a diversion." He calls back. He adjusts his shield and axe for battle. "Crossbows fire!" He calls to those in the wagon.
The dwarf steps forward, his axe a holy symbol should the zombies get close enough to turn.
Hragg turns the zombies if they approach within 20 feet. He will then enter melee if necessary to prevent the zombies from passing.

Elec is going to load his crossbow with his move action and then shoot the closest monster to him with his light crossbow (if his action is after the monster's turn. if not he will fire at the enemy at 09:01)

"Ew, that stench." Hilda thought to herself.
Hilda will draw her Mace and Shield and stay at the wagon to defend.

Re: Outside the Three Dancers Inn
Arlette, upon hearing Hraggs call to defend the wagon, pushes Landowe down for cover under the seats, "stay here, leave this to us". This could help keep him safe but would also mean he's not in her way as she scouts back and forth, keeping an eye on the obvious enemy but looking for any sign of an ambush as well.
DM given Hraggs instruction, Arlette will stay in her position atop the wagon and wait for the creatures to get closer. She will fire at 11:0, please correct my rolls if I've gotten them wrong

Re: Outside the Three Dancers Inn
Hragg turns to face the threat and steps forward, wielding his axe, ready to use his divine powers against these undead minions. He shouts some orders as he does so.
Kull likewise shouts a warning to check the other side of the road and attempts to catch a glimpse of any other creatures, he sees nothing. He readies himself at his position.
Hilda leaps down off the wagon and stands next to Kull, ready to defend.
The creatures continue to shamble forward, bracing themselves against the trees. Hragg sees them closing and channels his divine energy, commanding them to flee. Both of the foul things moan in terror and shield their eyes, they turn away, ready to retreat.
Arlette shouts to keep Landowe down and fires a bolt into the zombie closest to her, that's moved directly toward her and Landowe. She misses.
Elec likewise loads and fires his crossbow from the wagon, over the head of Hilda. He strikes the zombie closest to Hragg, wedging a bolt into the flesh of the thing. However, it seems completely unaffected.

- Don't roll again if you change your action, you keep the original roll. This is just to avoid the temptation to change actions when you get a bad roll.
- Please remember to roll anything that you think is likely to be needed. I don't want to roll your dice if I can avoid it
- I've made a couple of judgement calls on movement (5-foot steps), please be super clear in your posts if you absolutely don't want to move. Some things need to be fluid to keep the pace of the game.

Re: Outside the Three Dancers Inn
On seeing her bolt miss the creature, she turns to Landowe, "don't worry, the first bolt is always for sighting in"; she'd never want someone to think she was incapable of downing something as putrid as these creatures.
Arlette keeps looking and listening for threats around them. She sees the creatures turn away from Hragg, "he must be powerful," she thought, "or have an aroma these creatures can't stand" she grinned to herself.

"Chase them, finish it!" she yells to the others on the ground, her crossbow held high in the air as if she were rallying an army.

Arlette while the others are taking their actions, you don't see or hear anything in any direction.
Re: Outside the Three Dancers Inn
Hearing Arlette command. Elec loads another bolt into his crossbow and fire at the same undead he shot before.
