How is corona for you?

I am WFH in Sydney, Australia. My company told us all to WFH until further notice. Schools are still open, daycare is still open, so kids are still out there, probably getting sick.

The supermarkets are empty (I've got plenty of food).

Well I was job hunting, as well as trying to do some teacher training but that's gone to shit now. All bars and pubs just closed fully here, so that sucks but is for the best. Schools are meant to be closed but still open for NHS or key workers kids, so it's an awkward situation. Mainly sat at home, got some beers and wines in, so, riding this out comfortably!

Hope you lot are all doing well though.

My boss is a hypochondriac so once this started looking serious in other countries she jumped ahead of the rest of the country and sent us to work from home, suspended all fieldwork and experiments, so my lab has been working in isolation for almost 2 weeks. Not many in my suburb appear to be taking it seriously though, the field across from my house is the busiest I've ever seen it, and the dog park is packed :/

But, all good otherwise! Got plenty of tins of beans...

Outside of the initial grocery panic I've been relatively unaffected. Hours got shorter at work would be the biggest bite but I've put enough aside to get through most of it, I hope. Had to order in quite a bit considering I don't drive and all the groceries have been out of most things. Fortunately things are slowly but surely recovering and it doesn't seem like Oregon is treating the quarantine all that seriously.
