I think you're playing Kull well. He comes across as a low intelligence Orc, which I believe is what you're going for. He seems to me like he enjoys immediate pleasures, and doesn't give much thought to the future. So far, he appears loyal, and is immensely pleased with himself and his prowess.

If you want to introduce back-story for you character, by all means do. There doesn't need to be a lot of back story to give your character depth. The most striking thing you can do, is present your character is a certain way, and then have them change. This is character development. So for example, at the beginning of Iron Man, Tony Stark is a rich playboy bastard who makes weapons that kill lots of people and he doesn't care. Then he gets a taste of his own weapons, realises his personal crime, and spends the rest of the movie trying to put a stop to his own weapons company. So they presented him one way, have something happen, and he changes.

But you don't need to do that. Not by a long shot. Sometimes it's just fun for your character to have a bunch of adventures. For example, I don't think Conan the Barbarian ever really changed all that much.

Hello all! Happy to be a part of the game. I learned TTRPGs on 3.5e like 10 years ago, and still appreciate opportunities to get into it.
