Yep, I know how to play. I learned TTRPGs on 3.5e about 10 years ago.

I’m thinking of a Lesser Aasimar Cleric. I don’t know if a Lesser Aasimar is a monstrous race or not.

What book is a Lesser Aasimar in?

Player’s Guide to Faerun, p. 190-191.

What do you want me to do for gold and equipment? Do you allow Traits and Flaws?

Are you cool with him working toward Sainthood (from Book of Exalted Deeds)? It's got feat requirements, so if it's an option I'd like to start working toward it. It's dripping with interesting RP opportunities and seems like a lot of fun as a goal. The requirements are on pg. 29 and the added template is on pg. 185-186.

I will need to review and get back to you this afternoon (it's my morning). Sorry for the delay. I'm fairly certain it should be fine to seek out sainthood and be lesser aasimar. I have no real issue with traits and flaws if you want to spice up your character a bit.

Seeking out Sainthood is fine. However I'm going to say no to Lesser Aasimar. Partly for thematic reasons and partly for technical reasons. Sorry for the disappointment.
