Re: On the Trail to Southport

Ludo smiles at the outcome, and waits for the guards to leave, "Excellent! Welcome to the party lads. No hard feelings I hope? After all, we have just kept you out of prison. Though you should probably tell us your names you know? Unless you want new ones? Yknow, since you're officially dead and all...

Re: On the Trail to Southport

((If you guys don't mind, I'll roll Ludo on diplomacy, since he has the largest bonus of +6?)) Ludo hears the words of the bandit to Kull, and is intrigued. More gold or loot is always handy. Still, the work here was good and would make for a nice little song. And then Ludo gets an idea of his own, ...

Re: On the Trail to Southport

With the words from Grigori Ludo has a quick look around and spots that everyone apart from the man in front of him is on the ground. He looks back at the bandit in front of him, and loads another bolt, "You really want to do this kid? We can always back down from here still. Talk this out. You play...

Re: On the Trail to Southport

After Ludo dodges the attack from the man, he sighs at him. "You weren't even guaranteed to die if you ran, you're guaranteed to die if you stay in here though. This wasn't the smartest operation was it." Not seeing any other option to this situation, he loads the crossbow once more and fires again ...

Re: On the Trail to Southport

Recognising the bandit approaching Ludo (at 13,12), he turns and aims his crossbow at him. "Heya lad. You seem like a nice guy. You don't want to end up like your buddy here do you? Or the one who fell over there right? Do you not recognise us? Have you not heard of the Giant slayers of the North? T...

Re: On the Trail to Southport

Ludo can't help but be confused by the words of Grigori, what was wrong with removing the threat of the sleeping one permanently? If anything, that was the way Ludo wanted to go, in his sleep, no pain, everything over and him none the wiser. They were killing each other now, not restraining each oth...

Re: On the Trail to Southport

Ludo, rather than charging on with the others, appears to have taken his time, almost certainly leading the merchant guards to be baffled by his presence. He finally moves inside quickly, swinging his fiddle by its strap back round to his back, and taking out his light crossbow realising he too shou...

Re: On the Trail to Southport

As Ludo keeps the lullaby going for a bit longer, holding the notes, he nods at Grigori, "That won't hold them down for too long. We need to act quickly. Hopefully Kull and Arlette are ready to smash their way in too." From here, he braces himself to support Grigori and Kai with the next steps.

Re: On the Trail to Southport

As they move up the wall, Ludo keeps his head down and cradles over the fiddle, keeping it out of harms way - he'd rather take the arrow to himself than damage the fiddle. Despite feeling like a long time as the arrows reign down, in only a matter of moments the small group are up against the wall a...

Re: On the Trail to Southport

((Apologies, meant to announce I was disappearing for a couple days, but yes, Ludo's next plan of action is going to be to play and use the spell lullaby, followed by the spell sleep the following round, so I'll wait till others decide their plans and then I'll post that action))
