Re: In the quarters of The Sword of Pelor

Ludo looks between the group all making decisions towards the plan, as Arlette asks her questions - a concern in which Ludo agrees, he quietly states, "Guess I'm going with the drunk musician option. Unless someone says they want me to come with them..."

Re: In the quarters of The Sword of Pelor

Ludo notices the raised eyebrow from Grigori, and shrugs in response, "I mean, I'm not exactly your conventional security that's for sure. Perhaps I come in as the King's personal bard for his journey? That would be a great honour for myself. Or, if that is too inappropriate, though I don't see how,...

Re: In the quarters of The Sword of Pelor

Ludo looks puzzled at the King, but he knows his manners and bows before his highness, before responding to his initial question, "Your Majesty, I believe you ask the wrong question, we did not know you were here. Are you not here for the same reason as we are? Falias' ale is legendary in these part...

Re: In the quarters of The Sword of Pelor

Ludo realises that his discussion of their good intentions isn't getting the group anywhere, and that's when it dawns on Ludo that he's already referring to them as a collective group. He'd only just met this people, yet here he was arguing on their behalf too? He chalks it up to, these people are c...

Re: In the quarters of The Sword of Pelor

Ludo isn't entirely sure, but given how the others have reacted and what's being said, he's pretty sure the man who left the room was in fact the King. He thought he recognised him, just he didn't get a good enough look being on the other side of the hallway - that's what he puts his doubts down to....

Re: In the quarters of The Sword of Pelor

DM Does Ludo recognise the man as the King, or, do I need do a Knowledge History check? If so, here's my roll: 1d20+7 Ludo smiles and bows before the man, and pockets the gold, "That gold is an awfully kind gesture. You're awfully generous. However, as nice as that gesture is, we did just face deat...

Re: In the quarters of The Sword of Pelor

Kull, and others Just wanted to check you remember the +1 bonus to attack and dmg from Bardic music. Still got this round and 3 more of its bonus. Ludo, having watched this cloaked figure use magic to conjure two snakes, begins to wonder whether he'd seen or heard anyone matching this description o...

Re: In the quarters of The Sword of Pelor

Seeing the action going on, Ludo wants to end this as soon as possible. Who are these people? What do they want? Why are they doing this? These are the questions he realises need answering, and they can't answer them if they're dead. He stops playing his dramatic music, and steps forward to grab the...

Re: In the quarters of The Sword of Pelor

DM Thanks for the heads up on gather info vs search. My bad. Hope I've got the next roll right too. My understanding was spellcraft doesn't require an action (in this usage), if it does, then please ignore that section of the turn and I'll do that part later. His attention briefly distracted by the...

Re: In the quarters of The Sword of Pelor

The moment Ludo finishes calling for help, he realises its too late. He isn't a doctor, but he knows when someone isn't breathing at all. And he finally registers the body belongs to Fenner, he'd been drinking with him not long ago. In a moment, it'd all changed. He looks to the others, all armed an...
